Hello everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to come to my site and learn a little about me and what I'm doing. My name is Hope Ochoa, I am a recent high school graduate currently taking a Gap-year to do missions training stateside and hands-on work overseas. I was born and raised in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina where I was influenced by a wonderful community that made a big impact on my life. I was raised in the church but didn’t truly start following Jesus until about my sophomore year of high school. My life has been filled with mountain tops and valleys but the Lord has been faithful to carry me through it all. I will have a link to my testimony in one of my blogs if you would like to know more in-depth about my walk to salvation. I titled this website “A Pilgrim On A Mission” because I believe the lord has just begun to show me his way of life in this foreign land we call the world. I see precisely that this world is full of pain and suffering, but I know deeply that God has a cure for this haunting darkness, salvation through his son. So as a pilgrim journeys through far-off lands filled with uncertainty and doubt, I too must venture out into the world to be on a mission to bring Christ's light into this present darkness, this is my Commission. This website is merely an outlet for me to share my joys and sorrows being a firsthand witness to the brokenness of this world. I intend to share different genres of writings from my thoughts and imaginations, Testimonies of God’s faithfulness through his people, and the realities of being a disciple of Christ in a world full of brokenness. Thank you for joining me on this journey, May God use my words and experiences as a testament to his truth.
